Victory Center Lancaster Pantry

Serving Our Community with Dignity, Compassion, and Hope

For nearly two decades, the Victory Center Lancaster Pantry has been a trusted  resource for families in Fairfield County facing food insecurity. Through the  dedication of volunteers, generous donors, and strong community partnerships,  the pantry provides nutritious food and essential supplies to individuals and  families during times of need.

At Connexion West, we believe that meeting basic needs is the first step toward  restoring stability, strengthening families, and building pathways toward  generational change. Every person who walks through our doors is welcomed with  dignity, respect, and compassion.

Our Mission

The mission of the Victory Center Lancaster Pantry is to meet the immediate  needs of individuals and families facing hardship by providing healthy food, fresh  produce, and essential household supplies in a welcoming and supportive  environment.

Beyond food distribution, we strive to create meaningful connections with those  we serve, helping restore dignity while connecting families with additional  resources that promote long-term stability and well-being.

Who We Serve

The pantry serves a wide range of individuals and families throughout Fairfield  County, including:

Families with young children
Senior citizens living on fixed incomes
Individuals with disabilities
Multigenerational households
Individuals experiencing temporary financial hardship
Workers whose income is insufficient to meet rising living costs

Many families rely on the pantry during difficult seasons such as job loss,  unexpected medical expenses, or other financial disruptions. For seniors and  individuals on limited incomes, the pantry often provides essential support that  allows them to stretch their resources for housing, medications, and other  necessities.

Our goal is simple: Ensure that no one in our community faces hunger alone.

The Choice Pantry Model

The Victory Center Lancaster Pantry operates using a choice pantry model,  which allows families to select foods that best meet their household’s needs,  preferences, and dietary requirements.

Rather than receiving a pre-packed box, participants are able to walk through the  pantry and choose the items their family will use. This model:

Respects the dignity of every household
Reduces unnecessary food waste
Allows families to choose foods they know how to prepare
Accommodates dietary restrictions and cultural preferences

Each household receives groceries designed to help provide three days of meals  for every member of the family.

Pantry Hours

The pantry is open weekly to serve residents of Fairfield County. Every Saturday

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Our volunteers work hard to create a welcoming environment where families can  access the resources they need quickly and respectfully.

How to Receive Help

Individuals or families in need of food assistance can visit the pantry during open  hours. Our volunteers will guide you through a brief and simple intake process and  help you navigate the pantry.
